Before I picked up the book, Teens Big Dreams, I was a bit stuck in life. I lacked what you would call, drive. But the dreams were still there, I still wanted to do what I've always wanted to do. Once you pick the book up, you can't put it down. This book, gave me the drive to finally go after my dreams. And finally, they have came true and still continue to. All of this wouldn't have been possible without this book.

At first Teens Big Dreams seemed like just another one of those motivational books but I soon discovered something more, it's conversational style wasn't overdone which made the book very engaging. It covers more ground than other books but is in no way simillar. The chspter on marketing yourself was very useful, especially the templates and insight it provided. This, accompanied by the other chapters made a truly sensational read and undoubtedly a toolkit for life, whether you're eight ot eighty eight. It is impossible to judge Teens Big Dreams by it's cover, the cover is simple without being minimalist and there is no blurb! If you want to find out what it's about you'll just have to read it.

My dream was always to be a part of a famous rock/ metal band. Teens Big Dreams has inspired me to start a band at school with some people i know. i got a couple of seniors to join it and we performed the song Alone by Bullet For My Valentine in our school's EXO Day "Battle of The Bands" we came second behind an original piece but we did great, having the biggest turn out of the day because of how popular our song was. it was incredibly hard work and only having one practice session and finding out that our drummer didn't fully learn his bits really stressed me out. luckily, our rhythm guitarist knew the song on drums and the song was do able without a rhythm guitar. i'm also going to enter the 2012 Australia's got talent. Australia, look out!

It gives you advice of how to go about starting your journey and what other ways can be done to get what you want in life. It gives you great clarity and helps you strip down barriers in your mind which keep telling you "you cant do this" or "this is too hard and too big for you to accomplish". This book tells u that the universe is your limit and the tools and writing within the book will help you achieve the smallest and biggest of your goals.  These tools are not only meant to be also used in large scales but also can be used in other situations, such as organising the right way going about doing your uni work, or helping you in job finidings and interviews. It is the small details in this book which will greatly boost your goal performance and life performance as well.   I have already followed Teens Big Dream tools and ideas and already seen great benefits in my living style and my outlook towards life is much brighter.  The best thing about this book is that its not only for teens, its a book for people at the age of 0 to 200 years old. Your never too young or old to start a change.  Though i highly recommend this book for parents as it will be a great boost for a child life, if they begin to use these tools early in their life, it will get them used to the right thinkin patterns and help them break down any existing walls in their mind and future walls which may pop up.   Overall this is an amazing book that i believe everyone should have a copy of. Before reading teens big dreams i had just left science at uni to pursue my dream career as a director/producer of big budget hollywood films. I applied for tafes communication and media course and will use that as my stepping stone to uni. During the beginning of the year i was still unsure if i have made the right decision. Then one day with luck i met Sacha at Parramatta library telling us about his book and himself. That day forever changed my life forever. His speech was inspiring and struck a few chords with me. Absolutely loved the insights given into making the most of what you have to achieve your passion, with an ardent mindset. I've read motivational books before, but the context of the personal stories (for example, I was born with a club foot and I've faced some family health issues to consider too) helped to ground in the positive mentality needed and the hard work to get there. When I first held Teens Big Dreams in my hand, I had to say, I felt so proud of the author, as I have a personal friendship with Sacha. I liked the layout of the book, it really made it refreshing to read. Sacha has a way with explaining things, if you know him, you can almost hear the words come out of his mouth as you read them. The use of analogies really allows you to visualise what he is trying to communicate. If you are a fussy reader who has little patience with reading, you won't get it with this book. Hey Sasha,  I appologize for taking so long to do this. Congratulations on a year! Wow! Has it been that long. Now...  I enjoyed Teens Big Dreams very much. I have read a lot of self help books and found Teens Big Dreams to be an easy read of a lot of useful material in a concise and interesting style. It helped me to gauge my success towards my dreams.  I liked it so much I gave it to my daughters to read. While they are not teens, I thought the book would be very useful to them. I wanted them to reference it to check their dreams to see if they were on track.  My oldest daughter says her son (my grandson is 10 years old) Gavin can hardly put it down. From the moment I picked up this book, to finishing the last page, I was impressed. Having studied Community Services/Welfare at Tafe, I was quite familiar with the skills required when "networking", it was something I really enjoyed.  Many days were spent accessing other resources to better serve the community, and that included hours in the Tafe library, researching! When I received my copy of "Teens Big Dreams", the first thing that jumped off the pages were the fact Sacha had shared a great deal of information directed at achieving your goals/dreams....this clearly stood out in my mind as the perfect hand-tool for a student! Ask almost any teenager what they want to do in the future, and most will respond with ‘I don’t know, I haven’t made up my mind yet’. This attitude is not necessarily a problem until it becomes embedded in their psyche and they meander through some of the most important years of their life with no short or long term ambitions or achievable goals. This can lead to frustrations which sometimes can spiral out of control into depths of depression.   Teens Big Dreams is a road map into providing achievable objectives to guide them into setting goals for themselves and a means in how to achieve them.  It stresses that not all goals are achievable, and it is ok to re-evaluate and change those goals when circumstances change.  Having known the family for many years, it is obvious that Sacha’s journey in writing this book also provided a catalyst which focused his immediate family on a collective goal allowing them to concentrate on the positive affirmations described in the book.  I believe Sacha goal was/is to provide help to other young people experiencing difficulties and allowing them to focus on the future which can make the present bearable. It is much easier to wallow in self pity and become depressed.   If Sacha’s book helps just one person from avoiding this cloud of negativity, I think he has achieved success.  I also believe the concepts and goals presented in Teens Big Dreams applies to all walks of life. Sacha has targeted young people based on his own experiences but it can provide a universal guide to all of us.  As we all travel along life’s paths and highways, we each experience bumps and road blocks to some degree. This is part of living and learning from these experiences. It’s how we navigate around these setbacks determines our character and wellbeing.  Sometimes these hazards in life appear too big to resolve and we may need help to negotiate them. Having willing friends and or relatives to offer help and being able to convey to them that you need help often overcomes making incorrect or irrational decisions.  Sometimes, it seems there is no one who could help or understand your predicament. This turns small holes in huge chasms. After a lifetime teaching young people, I feel well qualified to make judgements about writing quality.  Teens Big Dreams is a remarkable text because its energy, inspiration and integrity are achieved by such a young writer.  It is a remarkable achievement for such a book to inspire the reader that I am, with so many years of reading behind me.  As a teacher, whose humble dream has been to change the world a little through his teaching, Teens Big Dreams banishes my doubts and fills me with hope for our future.

Teens Big Dreams has inspired me to keep on with my children's stories and other writing, to talk more with young people, to share more stories about the young with older people, and top think even more aboiut the power of self-belief.

I would like to see Teens Big Dreams
I would like to see it in the library of every high school.  Perhaps it could also be used to inspire young people to write for various competitions relating to living a good life.
